Sprache von MS Windows ändern

Da Microsoft gewisse Tools (TabletPCEducationPack) nur für die englische Betriebssystemversion von Windows Tablet PC Edition publiziert hat, besteht das Bedürfnis, die Sprachidentifikation von MS Windows zu ändern. Ein Tipp aus dem Internet schlägt folgendes Vorgehen vor:

1. open regedit
2. goto HKEY_Local_Machine\System\Currentcontrolset\control\Nls\Language
3. change the the value of "installLanguage" and "default" to 0409 (write down somewhere what was ther before)
4. reboot
