No, it's not a medical device (as some participants thought), it's my conference badge. The conference organizers thought that at a conference about learning it would be a bad thing to provide standard name badges. Instead the participants were invited to design their own badge. That's just what I did
I'm thoughts behind my badge: If I'm talking about the use of iPhones in education at a TEL-conference (technology enhanced learning) why not use the same technology for my badge instead of simple paper. People will ask me about my badge and so I can start a discussion about our project
